Q&A - Can you help me find a live and work place for my son with a disability?

Question - from a single mom in Illinois with a 15 year old son on the autism spectrum.
Recently I went through a divorce. I put my total settlement into an investment account. I will use this settlement for my retirement and to provide for my son. I am extremely worried about my son's future and need guidance on finding a community that he could live and work in when he is an adult and I am no longer around. I need guidance on where to look for independent residential settings with job programs, and how to get funding for them. I am willing to move to any state when he graduates high school. I am worried he will fall through the cracks because he doesn't qualify for PUNS (IQ is low 80's) and we don't qualify for Medicaid now that I am getting child support. Are you someone I could hire for guidance or would it be someone else in your program? Or do I need a different kind of advocate?
