2012 Social Security Changes
Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA):
Beginning January 1, 2012, Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries will receive a 3.6 percent COLA for 2012, raising the Federal Payment Standard for an Individual from $674/month to $698/month.
