Community Guidelines Can't Post

We take pride in keeping our message boards respectful, pleasant, and enjoyable for members of all ages. Please read the following guidelines before posting.

All posts are read by our administration and moderation team. If we catch questionable content, it will immediately be edited or removed for further investigation.

Language and Trolling
Our community is family-friendly. Language must be kept within a PG-13 level. Vulgar language is not allowed. This constitutes the use of any kind of offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate material deemed unsafe for any members. Inappropriate language will potentially be removed and users will be warned. Do not post provocative, outrageous, or pointless messages only to get a response from others, i.e. "trolling." Repeat violators will be permanently banned. Lastly, if it is abundantly clear that a user has no intention of positively contributing to discussions, combined with an abrasive, combative attitude, he or she will be banned. Users must demonstrate an interest in contributing to the discussions.

Personal Attacks
In order to maintain a positive atmosphere, no personal attacks or insults will be tolerated. There is a difference between a passionate, respectful discussion and one that delves into personal matters. When the line is crossed, the discussion may be closed by the moderation team. Violators will be warned and potentially banned.

Moderators and Administrators Have the Final Word
If you have a problem or a complaint, direct it to the administrators and/or moderators, not to the boards. The appropriate actions will be taken. We reserve the right to ban flagrant offenders when deemed necessary, with or without prior warning.

Cross-Posting
If you have something to post and you're not sure which board it belongs in, do not post it in more than one board. If the administrators or moderators think it would fit better in another location, it will be moved there. Duplicate threads only serve to create confusion.

Signature Rules
A typical signature contains the poster's name, e-mail address, website, and a favorite quote or saying. Excessive font size are not allowed. Anyone abusing this privilege will be warned and then have their signature removed until they acknowledge this guideline.

Multiple Accounts Per Individual Are Not Permitted
If you forget your password, use the password recovery tool, in which case you will be able to reset your password, given that you have access to the e-mail associated with your account. If you are still unable to login, contact a moderator.

Be supportive
This site has been created with a positive intent and we ask that you help further that intention.

Be respectful
Be polite and respectful in your interactions with other members.

Keep it clean
You must be 13 years or older to use the site and any content you add to the site ought to be safe and clean.

Enjoy Protected Tomorrows Forum
Enjoy your time here, make friends and get inspired.

Do not upload content that isn't yours
Respect the copyright of others. Use your own content or content in the public domain for your entries and images.

Do not spam the site (or post commercial content)
People generally know spam when they see it. Commercial content that is not germane to a goal or promotional content that is repeatedly posted are examples of spam. If you sell a product or service, you may not post sale or promotional messages unless first approved by Protected Tomorrows, Inc. Contact us if you would like to discuss how to bring your products to our members.

Don't be creepy
Offering unwanted advances is NOT OK. Posting suggestive or inappropriate photos is not allowed. This applies to your profile photo as well as entry photos. Users will report these photos and they will be removed. Users may also report accounts posting graphic nudity and your account will automatically be suspended without warning. This also includes links to similar photos or sites.

REPORTING VIOLATIONS

Protected Tomorrows Forum has great users which is what makes it such a great community. We rely on users to report and assess inappropriate, commercial, illegal or abusive activities. We need your help.

Reporting spam, commercial use, abuse, copyright infringement
If you run across spam, blatant commercial use, abusive behavior, harmful advice, copyright infringement or other objectionable things, don't panic. If it's a light offense you may help the user out by commenting and educating them that the content violates these community guidelines. If that doesn't work, please send a Private Message to any of the forum moderators that is listed on the top of each forum.

Please follow the above guidelines when posting on our message boards. If you have any questions, send a Private Message to any of the forum moderators that is listed on the top of each forum.

Above all, remember to have fun!
