Independent Employment Can't Post

There is a grant from The Dept. Of Rehabilitation that I am working under from 8/2010 to 8/31/2011. The grant gives us(Clearbrook) the opportunity to find employment for individuals that are able to travel and work on independently within the community.

Once a referral is made to me,I contact The Department of Rehabilitation to conduct an INTAKE meeting. When this meeting occurs,we will know if the case will become an open case with the Department of Rehabilitation. Once the case is open, I begin working with the individual on writing a resume, searching for jobs, practicing for interviews, filling out applications and coaching on the job. After a period of training, the individual will becomes independent on the job and continues to work while I follow up,talk to the supervisors and continue the process of support to the individual and business.
This grant focuses on the person with disabilities, their strengths , abilities and finding the right job for them within the community.
Two requirements are: Must be a graduate from high school
Not currently receiving any type of public day funding
